The Flying Fletches at the Medieval Fair

The Flying Fletches had a wonderful weekend at the Medieval Fair in Gumeracha, South Australia, on the weekend (6th-7th May). There was a constant stream of visitors to the stall wanting to know about all about horse archery. There was also a lot of interest in 'Bluebell', the vaulting barrel, where people could pose for photographs. What a great weekend, and thank you to all the Flying Fletches members who volunteered their time!

A great success on the weekend was The Flying Fletches Medieval Fair Raffle, with some fantastic prizes including a horse archery session with Empowerment for Riders, a Beginners Horse Archery Video series by Outback Equines, a $50 Bunnings voucher, wine, chocolate and more. The raffle was drawn on Sunday night, and we'd like to congratulate the winner, Tara. We hope you enjoy your prizes! Proceeds will go to buying some much needed club equipment.

Here are some photos from the fair, including some of the Flying Fletches members posing in front the amazing metal horse built by the Mount Pleasant Men's Shed.
